STATEMENT designs jewelry based on conviction rather than convention. STATEMENT is also a team of women with unique backgrounds but a shared ambition: to create and showcase exceptional pieces, from their craftsmanship to their aesthetics.
Introduce yourself: first name, professional and personal background:
My name is Prune Lombardo. I'm 40 years old, married, and the mother of three. After studying fashion marketing, I traveled extensively. Back in Paris, I gained experience in various fields, eventually specializing in digital for about ten years. I was able to further my career in this field, first in the interior design sector and now in the jewelry industry.
What is your mission within the STATEMENT jewelry house?
As Digital Manager, my role is to support the brand with its digital strategy and manage the e-commerce site to ensure it is consistent with the brand's image, current events, and values. Jewelry is still a nascent sector in digital terms, but it's a great challenge with strong growth potential. STATEMENT has launched many interesting projects, such as the recent Second Way initiative.
Can you tell us about this Second Way project?
STATEMENT had a genuine desire to offer a new approach to jewelry. With Second Way, we offer our customers the opportunity to acquire a piece with a past, a story, that has already been used previously and is ready for a second life. This project is intended to be a long-term project. We are already thinking about what comes next to invite our customers to participate in this initiative as well.
What STATEMENT jewelry are you wearing?
My first piece is a combination of two rings. The Stairway 3-row diamond-paved ring and the Stairway 1-row ring. I love their volume on my hand; they bring me strength and protection, two values that define STATEMENT creations.
